Campers should wear jeans, boots with a heel, and a comfortable shirt. Camp t-shirts are available for purchase. Please no dangling jewelry. Each camper will be required to wear a helmet while riding. Campers may bring a helmet from home, or can purchase or borrow one through us.

Food and Beverages
Snacks, water, and juice will be provided. Campers should bring a sack lunch.

Camp Horse Shows
Each Friday at 1PM, we invite parents to join us for an end of camp horse show, where campers can show off the skills they've learned at camp and compete against their peers in a fun, relaxed setting. Prizes will be awarded and each camper will receive a certificate of camp completion.

Camp Levels
Each camper will be assigned a horse for their week at camp. There are different camps for different experience levels and ages. Please consult Kelsey if you need assistance determining which camp will best suit your child's needs. Campers are welcome to attend multiple weeks of camp as they improve their skills and progress. If your child has a horse they would like to bring to camp, that can be arranged.

Beginner Camp
Campers will learn the basics of grooming, tacking up, and caring for horses. They will ride every day, and learn the basics of walking, trotting, steering, and jumping position. Campers will play games, complete worksheets, and ride in their camp horse show on Friday.

Intermediate Camp
Campers will learn more in depth grooming skills, how to care for their tack, and explore more about horse care. They will ride every day, and will walk, trot, practice steering skills, refine their jumping position, and canter. Campers will play games on the ground as well as mounted games, complete worksheets, and ride in their camp horse show on Friday.

Advanced Camp
Campers will learn how to groom for a show, how to identify specific parts of their tack, and basic equine first aid. They will ride everyday, and continue refining their skills at the walk, trot, and canter, as well learning to jump. Campers will play games on the ground as well as mounted games, complete worksheets, and ride in their camp horse show on Friday.
